The prayer made in the present petition is for directing the respondents to pay interest on the entire delayed payments on account of arrear of family pension of the petitioner.

Learned counsel would contend that regarding the claim raised in the present petition, a representation dated 21.11.2022, Annexure P-6 and a legal notice dated 22.12.2023, Annexure P-7, have been submitted, which have yet not evoked any response. He thus, at this stage, on instructions, from the petitioner, prays that a direction is given be given to the respondents to decide the same in a time bound manner.

At the asking of the Court, Mr. Harish Nain, AAG, Haryana accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State and has no objection to the limited prayer made.

In view of the above and without commenting upon the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondents to decide the legal notice dated 22.12.2023, Annexure P-7, expeditiously.
