The petitioner has approached this Court by way of instant writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing of e-tender dated 14.10.2016 (Annexure P-1) (colly.) and also objection/rejection (Annexure P-3) uploaded by the respondents, vide which the tenders of the petitioner was rejected. Further prayer has also been made to stay the further process of e-tenders (Annexure P-1) which has not allotted till now.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that for the relief claimed in the writ petition, the petitioner has sent a representation dated 30.09.2016 (Annexure P-9) to the Deputy Commissioner, Fatehgarh Sahib with regard to the rejection of the tender bid submitted by the petitioner in pursuance to the tender notice dated 14.10.2016 (Annexure P-1), but no action has so far been taken thereon. After hearing learned counsel for the petitioner, perusing the present petition and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, we dispose of the present petition by directing the concerned respondent to take a decision on the representation dated 30.09.2016 (Annexure P-9), in accordance with law by passing a speaking order and after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner within a period of ten days from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order.
