The petitioner prays for directions to respondents No.3 & 5 to release the amount of gratuity as per letter dated 10.8.2015 (Annexure P2), which is allegedly duly sanctioned by the office of respondent No.4. Learned counsel for the petitioner does not press the other relief regarding revised pension at this stage.

It is submitted that the representation dated 9.10.2015 has been filed to the said respondents that the petitioner is entitled for the gratuity to the tune of ` 10,00,000/- on his retirement on 31.5.2015 as Agriculture Development Officer. Keeping in view the fact that the decision has not been given effect to by the said respondents, this Court does not feel it necessary to call upon them to file reply.

Accordingly, a direction is issued to the above said respondents No. 3 & 5 to decide the said issue within a period of two DEEPAK KUMAR BHARDWAJ 2015.11.19 12:22 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

Civil Writ Petition No. 24147 of 2015 months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order and make payment. In case the amount is found due, the petitioner be paid as per the relevant rules and if he is entitled to the interest on account of delay in payment, he shall also be entitled for the same. The writ petition stands disposed of.
