Through instant petition, preferred under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has sought issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondent No.2 to promote him notionally as JE-II and pay be fixed in the scale of JE-II from 2001. And further to remove anomalies occurred while fixing the pay after he was granted II ACP in October 2007. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though petitioner moved various representations including representation dated 30.03.2017 (P-11) but till date neither any response has been received nor benefits have been released. He further submits that petitioner feels satisfied in case direction is issued to respondents to take conscious decision on aforesaid representation (P-11), in a time bound manner.
