Mr. Anshul Gupta, AAG, Punjab DAYA CHAUDHARY, J (Oral) The present petition has been filed for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the Charge Sheet dated 14.07.2015 (Annexure P-2), served upon the petitioner.

Notice of motion was issued in this case on 19.11.2015. On that day, a direction was issued to the disciplinary authority to take a final decision on the charge-sheet within a period of three weeks. Learned counsel for the respondent-State submits that the present petition has become infructuous as the disciplinary authority has dropped the charge-sheet on 05.01.2016.

In view of the submissions made by learned counsel for the respondent-State, nothing survives in the petition and the same is disposed of accordingly.
