NAMIT KUMAR J. (Oral) The present petition has been filed by the petitioners under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to extend the service period of the petitioners, who are existing Group-D employees, deployed with respondent No.1 in parity with Group-C employees as per letter dated 14.06.2024 (Annexure P-2). Further prayer has been made to issue direction to the respondent - Department to maintain status quo qua the services of the petitioners.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the relief claimed in the present petition has been granted vide letter dated 21.08.2024, issued by the Finance Department, Haryana and in this view of the matter, the instant petition has been rendered infructuous. Disposed of as having become infructuous.
