**** H.S.Grewal, J. (Oral) Present petition has been filed under Section 482 BNSS, 2023 for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.12 dated 18.04.2025 registered under Sections 380, 420, 465, 467, 468, 471 and 120B IPC at P.S. NRI Jalandhar (Rural) District Jalandhar. 2.

In compliance of order dated 29.05.2025, status report by way of an affidavit of Satinder Kumar, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division Jalandhar filed on behalf of respondent-State in Court today, is taken on record subject to all just exceptions.

The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner forged the Will dated 23.03.2012 and used the same to sell the three properties belonging to his deceased father namely Manjit Singh. The petitioner relied upon the Will dated 23.03.2012 whereas he had already accepted the Will dated 07.04.2013 to be the authentic Will by which the property was mutated in the SONIA BURA 2025.06.12 14:26 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRM-M-30721-2025 name of petitioner as well as his two brothers namely Sukhdeep Singh and Amandeep Singh. Subsequently, the petitioner has sold all the properties fraudulently on the basis of the Will dated 23.03.2012. 3.

In the light of above, no ground is made out to grant the anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the present petition stands dismissed.
