(ORAL) In the present writ petition, the grievance which is being raised by the petitioner is that he had filed two applications on 21.02.2018 (Annexures P-3 and P-4) respectively, for the grant of State Carriage permits for operating of light motor vehicles, having the capacity of 30 passengers, on Batala to Gagarbhana via Achal Sahib, Mehta Chowk route, keeping in view the provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and the scheme framed therein.

Upon notice of motion, short reply has been filed on behalf of the respondents today in the Court and the same is taken on record. A copy thereof has been supplied to opposite counsel. CWP-20228-2019 -2of the petitioner as raised in the application dated 21.02.2018 (Annexure P-3) has been considered and not found meritorious and the same has been rejected by passing an appropriate speaking order on 31.10.2019 (Annexure R-1).

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that petitioner has already availed the remedy of appeal against the order dated 31.10.2019 (Annexure R-1) Learned counsel for the petitioner states that no order has been passed in respect of application dated 21.02.2018 (Annexure P-4), which is still pending consideration.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents states that in case the application dated 21.02.2018 (Annexure P-4) is still pending consideration, the appropriate order will be passed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Keeping in view the above, present writ petition is disposed of with the direction to respondent No.2 to pass the appropriate order in respect of the application dated 21.02.2018 (Annexure P-4), filed by the petitioner, in case the same is still pending consideration, within a period of three months from the receipt of certified copy of this order.
