Present petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking release of the amount of the medical reimbursement as well as interest on the delayed payments.

Petitioner claimed a sum of `2,42,724/- from the respondents on account of medical reimbursement. Despite the fact that notice of motion was issued in January, 2018, and the case came up for hearing for more than four times thereafter, but no reply has been filed so far. CWP-180-2018 -2Counsel for the petitioner submits that during the pendency of the present petition, a sum of `2,11,000/- has already been released to the petitioner and now only a sum of `31,724/- remains to be paid. Counsel for the petitioner further states that the petitioner will be satisfied in case a time bound direction is given to the respondents to decide the above said claim of the petitioner. Petitioner has already served respondents with a legal notice on 20.11.2017 (Annexure P-4) claiming `2,42,724/-.

Counsel for the respondents states that they have no objection, if a direction is given to decide the claim about the remaining amount.

In view of the above, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to decide the legal notice dated 20.11.2017 (Annexure P-4) filed by the petitioner within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court expresses no opinion on the merits of the case and entitlement of the petitioner for the relief claimed. Present writ petition stands disposed of.
