If elections are conducted without adjudicating petitioner's appeal it would amount to denial of his right to assail voter list. The District Registrar had passed reasoned order which has been set aside by State Registrar in a mechanical manner.

Notice of motion returnable for 27.05.2026.

Ms. Svaneel Jaswal, Addl. A.G. Haryana who on advance notice is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State. He seeks time to take instructions and file reply, if any.

Let respondents No.4 and 5 be served through dasti as well.

In the meantime, it would be appropriate if Registrar General adjudicates petitioner's appeal. The Returning Officer-respondent No.4 is directed to keep elections process in abeyance."

3.

Learned Senior counsel for the petitioner submits that Registrar General has set aside the order passed by State Registrar. The grievance of petitioner stands redressed, thus, petition has rendered infructuous.
