**** HARNARESH SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) By way of the present petition, the petitioner seeks issuance of directions to respondent No.2 to ensure a fair and an impartial investigation in FIR No.90 dated 11.03.2021, under Section 306 read with Section 34 IPC, at Police Station Sector-5, Gurugram. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on 01.12.2020, the marriage of petitioner's son, namely, Himanshu Sharma, was solemnized with Sakshi; that the said marriage was the second marriage of both; that Himanshu Sharma committed suicide on 11.03.2021 by hanging himself from the fan; that from the very beginning, the police was siding with the accused and did not conduct an impartial investigation in the matter and that, though the petitioner had moved an application dated 25.05.2022 to the Secretary Home, Government of Haryana, Chandigarh, with a copy to the Commissioner of Police, Gurugram, for redressal of his grievances, yet no action has been taken upon the same till date.

Notice of motion to respondents No.1 to 3-State only. On the asking of this Court,
, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State only and submits that, after a thorough investigation, cancellation report was filed and the above noted FIR stood cancelled on 05.10.2021. Since the very FIR in which the directions are sought for, stands cancelled, no orders are called for in the present petition. Disposed of.
