Present:

Mr.Arun Bansal, Advocate for the petitioner.

........

SURYA KANT, J.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition on the last day of expiry of admissions to the MBBS/Dental Courses through out the country. The petitioner's grievance is that the Government of Haryana vide Policy Circular dated 04.08.2017 has restricted the benefit of reservation, meant for freedom fighters, to their children or grand-children. He urges that such benefit ought to have been extended to the great grand-children also. [2] We are afraid, such an issue entails a policy decision which could be taken by policy makers only. The reservation for the wards of freedom fighters is not emanating from the Constitution. It is only a concession given by the State, who is well within its right to restrict the benefit of reservation to the children and grand-children of freedom fighters only.

[3] No case to interfere with the impugned circular is made out. [4] Dismissed.
