The petitioners through instant petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India are seeking issuance of an appropriate order/direction restraining the respondents from laying proposed High Tension ('HT') electricity line. 2.

As per pleadings, the petitioners claim that they are owners of land in possession and have constructed residential houses and cattle sheds. The respondent is going to lay HT electricity transmission line adjacent to their residential houses and cattle sheds. They have raised objections to proposed alignment and requested to adopt alternative route/alignment. The respondents may be directed to decide their representation dated 24.02.2026.
