(Oral) Petitioner has posed a challenge to the order dated 01.10.2015 passed by the State Information Commissioner, Haryana, on the limited ground that penalty of Rs.15,000/- has been wrongly imposed on him as the delay caused in supplying the information was for the reasons beyond the control of the petitioner.

Admittedly, the requisite information was supplied to the applicant though after some delay.

During the course of arguments, this court feels that the penalty imposed on the petitioner is on the higher side. Same is reduced to Rs.5,000/-. Same be deposited with the concerned authority within one month from today.

Disposed of.
