Through the instant petition, a prayer is made for grant of regular bail to the petitioner, in case FIR No.268 dated 17.11.2021, under Section 302 of the IPC, registered at P.S. Sector 6, Dharuhera, District Rewari.

At the very outset, the learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that since (i) prosecution evidence has already been concluded; (ii) statement of accused under Section 313 of the Cr.P.C. has also been recorded; and (iii) four defence witnesses have also already been examined; therefore, he does not want to press the instant petition at this stage and seeks leave to withdraw it.
