In this writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has prayed for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to waive off the late fees on account of payment of taxes and filing of GST return in form 3B for the month of July 2017. Further, a prayer has been made to extend the last date of filing of GST return so that the petitioner can file GST returns of his clients without late fees.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he has filed the representation dated 29.08.2017 before the respondents but no action has been taken so far.
