 (       are praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of quo warranto for quashing the action of the respondents in promoting the ETT Teachers in the cadre of Master/Mistress being contrary to the notification dated 23.08.2010 (Annexure P-2). The petitioners have also challenged the circular dated 14.09.2017 (Annexure P-4) vide which the mandatory condition of passing TET examination for being eligible for promotion by the JBT/ETT Teachers to the post of Master, has been relaxed by the respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that Hon'ble the Supreme Court in Civil Appeal No.1385 of 2025 titled as Anjuman DIWAKER GULATI 2026.02.03 12:51 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document -1-

  

 Ishaat E. Taleem Trust Vs. The State of Maharashtra and others along with connected matters, decided on 01.09.2025, has held that requirement of passing TET examination is mandatory for the purpose of appointment and promotion, as such, the present petition may be disposed of in terms of Anjuman Ishaat E. Taleem Trust's case (supra).

In view of the above judgment passed by Hon'ble the Supreme Court in Anjuman Ishaat E. Taleem Trust's case (supra), no further order is required to be passed, as such, the present writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file an application for revival of the petition, if any cause survives. 4.

Pending application(s), if any, shall also stand(s) disposed of.
