(Oral) The petitioner has approached this Court under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, inter alia, for seeking direction for impartial probe against the respondents for constructing building illegally, in violation of Master/Layout Plan over the plot measuring 0.44 acres, situated in Sector 56, SAS, Nagar Mohali, against the directions and law laid down by the Apex Court & this Court, causing inconvenience to the residents of the locality in the form of irregular and arbitrary construction by way of sewage/water supply/electricity connection, without following the due instructions issued by the concerned Department.

A further prayer for direction to the respondents to shift the Government Elementary School/Government Middle School/Government High School to some other safe building near the residences of the students, studying therein, beyond National Highway 21, has also been made. Besides this, some other prayers have also been made including to take appropriate legal action against the persons, responsible for creating nuisance in the area, for the sake of creating vote banks of migrants, residing beyond National Highway 21. The petitioner who appears in-person states that inadvertently certain relevant prayers could not be averred in the writ petition and supporting documents appended along with the writ petition. Accordingly, prayer was made that he may be allowed to withdraw the present writ petition as well as the Civil Miscellaneous Application bearing CM No. 14273-CWP of 2017, seeking amendment of the present writ petition. However, liberty be granted to him to file a fresh petition on the same cause of action by making necessary prayers/furnishing better particulars and appending relevant documents.
