*** Ritu Bahri, J. (Oral) This petition under Section 226 of the Constitution of India is for issuance of direction to respondents to count the service rendered by petitioners on the post of SPOs as qualifying service for the purpose of pensionary/retiral benefits.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the above benefit has been granted by this Court to similarly situated persons vide order dated 15.02.2018 in CWP No. 9936-2017 titled as Sukhjit Singh and others vs. State of Punjab and others and CWP No. 7127-2019, decided on 01.04.2019 titled as Jarnail Singh and others vs. State of Punjab and others.

Issue notice of motion.

On asking of the Court, Ms. Anu Pal, DAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State.
