IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB & HARYANA

AT CHANDIGARH CR-4459-2026 Date of decision: 26.05.2026 Kishore Bhardwaj

...Petitioner

Versus

M/s Royale Empire & Ors.

.... Respondents CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE AMARINDER SINGH GREWAL

Present:

Mr. Naveen S. Bhardwaj, Advocate,& Mr. Lokendra Singh, Advocate, for the petitioner.

**** AMARINDER SINGH GREWAL , J. (Oral) 1.

The present revision petition has been filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of appropriate directions to the learned State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Punjab, Chandigarh, seized of Execution Application No.81 of 2020 (Annexure P-4) arising out of Consumer Complaint No.394 of 2016 titled "Kishore Bhardwaj Vs. M/s Royale Empire & Ors.", to decide and conclude the execution proceedings expeditiously.

2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner had filed Execution Application No.81 of 2020 (Annexure P-4). Notice in the said execution application has already been issued and the matter is presently adjourned to 28.05.2026 for filing reply to the objections. Learned counsel for the petitioner further contends that since the execution application has been pending for the last about six years, appropriate directions may be issued to the learned State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Punjab, Chandigarh, to dispose of the execution application in a time-bound manner.

CR-4459-2026 3.

Considering the limited nature of relief sought, issuance of notice to the respondents is dispensed with, as the same would only result in further delay in the proceedings.

4.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and have perused the paper book.

5.

Keeping in view the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner and without commenting upon the merits of the case, the present revision petition is disposed of with a direction to the learned State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Punjab, Chandigarh, to decide Execution Application No.81 of 2020 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from today.

6.

Pending applications, if any, shall stand disposed of. 7.

The Registry is directed to send a copy of this order forthwith to the learned State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Punjab, Chandigarh, for strict compliance.
