The matter is taken up for hearing through video conference due to COVID-19 situation.

This is a petition seeking direction to the official respondents for protection of life and liberty of the petitioner in view of certain events as pleaded in the petition.

Learned counsel for the State appearing on advance notice submits that the respondents have received the representation through e-mail dated 18.8.2020. The threat perception would be looked into and necessary steps if so required would be taken. In view of the statement made, the petition is disposed of. Let decision on the representation dated 18.8.2020 be taken not later than 16.11.2020.
