***** VINOD S. BHARDWAJ, J. (Oral) The instant petition has been filed for seeking issuance of writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus, for seeking release of detenue namely Saina Daughter of Khurseed resident of Village Sundh Tehsil Tauru, District Nuh from the illegal custody of respondent No.4.

Apparently, this Court is prima facie of the opinion that the present matter pertains to a runaway couple and does not appear to be a case of illegal detention or kidnapping of the alleged detenue. Moreover, the petitioner already has an efficacious alternative remedy available by approaching the learned Sub-Divisional Magistrate for the appointment of a Warrant Officer to secure the release of the detenue, if so required. Since there is an efficacious remedy available to the petitioner, the present petition is disposed of as not pressed at this stage with liberty to VISHAL SHARMA 2026.05.25 18:56 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
