General Manager-cum-Mining Officer, District Industries Centre, Faridkot, has filed the affidavit dated 06.12.2017, which is taken on record. It is averred that compensation for the first quarter amounting to Rs.1,73,835/- has been paid to the petitioner vide cheque dated 22.11.2017. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits and rightly so that meanwhile amount towards second quarter has also become due. The authorities are directed to ensure the payment of such amount also on time with a further direction that in future also the due amount shall be paid to the petitioner on time without forcing him to approach the Court. Needless to say that if the petitioner is again compelled to approach this Court, the authorities will liable to pay compensation, interest and suitable costs. Disposed of.
