SUVIR SEHGAL, J. (Oral) Instant petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking direction to official respondents No.2 and 3 to protect the life and personal liberty of the petitioners from the hands of respondents No.4 to 8.

In response to the notice of motion issued to the official respondents No.1 to 3, reply by way of affidavit dated 22.01.2021 of Deputy Superintendent of Police, Dharamkot, District Moga has been filed, wherein, it has been stated that statements of both the petitioners have been recorded and both of them have stated that they do not have any apprehension from the private respondents and they do not want any protection.
