By virtue of instant petition, preferred under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has sought issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the official respondents to release the financial benefits such as employees provident fund, pension, gratuity, family pension, leave encashment, compensation and ex-gratia payment on account of death of her husband. AND further a writ in the nature of certiorari to set aside the reply dated 05.06.2018 (P-4), vide which the claim of the petitioner for compassionate appointment has been declined.

At the very outset of the arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though petitioner moved representation dated 23.03.2018 (P-5) but till date no conscious decision has been taken. Instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent(s) to consider the case of the petitioner unfolded by her in representation dated 23.03.2018 (P-5) and take a conscious decision, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. In case, the concerned authorities come to the conclusion that petitioner is entitled to the relief claimed, to release the same within a period of next one month. 4.

However, if the petitioner still feels aggrieved against any of the order(s) passed by the concerned authorities, she shall be at liberty to have recourse to the remedies available under law as well as to approach this Court.
