(ORAL) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that during pendency of the proceedings, petitioner has since retired from the service and the writ petition is, therefore, rendered infructuous and, in any case, by virtue of interim order, since suspension was stayed and, therefore, he continued to serve the department. Having rendered his full length of service, has also been accorded the pensionary benefits arising out of the retirement.

Disposed of as not pressed.
