Petitioner - Amanpreet Singh @ Aman, aged 29 years, has filed instant petition under Section 483 of BNSS, 2023, for seeking regular bail in case FIR No.61 dated 30.03.2026 under Sections 25 and 27 of Arms Act, registered at Police Station Kartarpur, District Jalandhar. 2.

When police party was on patrolling, at bus-stand Kartarpur, one special informer gave information that Amanpreet Singh @ Aman (petitioner herein) and his co-accused - Dilawar Singh @ Boby, are habitual criminals and already cases in regard to the possessing of illegal arms were registered against them. Presently, they are coming towards Kapurthala from Kartapur Sahib in vehicle HR12-D-2468, and if raid is conducted, they can be apprehended along with weapons.

CRM-M-29951-2026 (O&M) -2After registration of FIR, naka was installed and on checking the vehicle, occupied by both the aforementioned accused, petitioner was found in possession of one pistol .32 bore, without magazine and three live cartridges from the dashboard of the car another pistol of .32 bore and two live cartridges were recovered.

From the co-accused - Dilawar Singh @ Boby also one pistol .32 bore without magazine and two live cartridges were recovered. 3.

Faced with the allegations and that petitioner, who is facing four other criminal cases of serious nature and has moved the present petition at an early stage, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks withdrawal of the instant petition at this stage.
