The petitioner was elected as a Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat of village Khairi, Tehsil Thanesar, District Kurukshetra. His term is already over and now the Gram Panchayats are being managed through the Administrators.

Through this writ petition, the petitioner prays for setting aside the orders dated 14.12.2020 and 07.01.2021. The petitioner was placed under suspension as he was alleged to be in the illegal possession of the gram panchayat land.

The learned counsel representing the petitioner admits that the petitioner cannot be reinstated as his tenure is over. 4.
