PANKAJ JAIN, J. (ORAL) By way of present petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioner seeks issuance of directions to respondents No.2 and 3 to protect his life and liberty at the hands of respondents No.6 and 7.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Sumit Jain, Addl. Advocate General, Haryana appears and accepts notice on behalf of the official respondents.

Without adverting to the merits of the petitioner's allegations at this stage, the matter is disposed off with a direction to respondent No.3 (Superintendent of Police, Sirsa) to look into the grievance raised by the petitioner, who is a 96 years old man engaged in a long civil litigation with the private respondents.
