CWP No.19984 of 2017 (O&M) {2} prayed for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus for directing respondents No.1 to 6 to give free treatment to Ms. Poonam, who is suffering from cancer.

In the reply submitted by the respondents, it is stated therein that free treatment has been given to Ms. Poonam for cancer ailment. 3.
Learned counsel for the petitioner does not dispute the fact that Ms. Poonam, who is suffering from cancer has been given treatment without any charges. He, however, prayed that liberty be granted to raise certain ancillary issues which arise in this matter before the appropriate authority. 4.
After hearing learned counsel for the parties, perusing the record and keeping in view the fact that the free treatment is being given to the patient namely Ms. Poonam, the writ petition is disposed of as infructuous. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to approach the concerned State authority for redressal of his grievance in case something survives or arises for their consideration in accordance with law.
