(Oral) The petitioner alongwith his associates was allotted Goods Booking Agency No.38, measuring 538 Square yards in the 'Transport Nagar Development Scheme' by the Improvement Trust, Bathinda, pursuant to an auction held on 09.05.2012. The said auction was confirmed but the allotment has been cancelled vide order dated 15.10.2014 on the ground of non-payment of due installments.
The aggrieved petitioner has preferred a statutory appeal on 21.11.2014 (P-3) against the above-stated order. One of the grievance in the instant writ petition is that an year has passed but the above-stated appeal has not been decided so far.
Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and considering the nature of above-mentioned relief coupled MOHINDER KUMAR 2015.11.28 11:20 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh
CWP No.24543 of 2015 [2] with the fact that the appeal is pending from the last one year, we dispose of this writ petition without expressing any views on merits, with a direction to the Secretary, Local Government Department, Punjab, to take up the appeal and decide the same in accordance with law within a period of four months from the date of receiving a certified copy of this order.
