As per the status report, the petitioner did not provide any cogent evidence with regard to allegations concerning the spraying of poisonous substances on the crops by the private respondents, to which learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, in fact, the crops were damaged is in itself a cogent piece of evidence. 2.

Although as per the status report, it has been submitted that there is no threat to the life and liberty of the petitioner and the matter is civil in nature.

In light of the above, the present petition stands disposed of and the respondent-authorities are directed to look into the representations (Annexures P/3 to P/6) and ensure that the peace and harmony is maintained and no untoward incident takes place.
