SURYA KANT, J.(ORAL) The short prayer made in this case is to direct the respondents to consider suitable amendments in the Policy Instructions (Annexure P-5) in terms of the decisions of this Court in CWP-16064-2004 decided on 18.07.2006 (Prem Singh vs HUDA and another) and CWP-18393-2008 (The Hisar Ex.Naval Personnel Welfare Society, 88, Defence Colony, Hisar vs State of Haryana and another) and other connected cases, decided on 01.02.2012, Annexures P-6 and P-8 respectively, which have attained finality. These decisions pertain to removal of condition of minimum rank for the defence personnel/Paramilitary Forces personnel for the purpose of eligibility for allotment of plots reserved for them. [2] Counsel for HUDA states that the matter is under active consideration of the State Government for carrying out necessary amendments in the Policy.

CWP-20046-2017 -2- [3] Though the matter has been adjourned time and again to enable the respondents to file reply, we do not deem it necessary to keep this petition pending and direct the respondents to carry out the suitable changes in their Policy decision and bring the same in conformity with the citeddecisions of this Court, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
