Versus

Director-cum-Special Secretary, Rural Development and Panchayat and Another ... Respondent(s)

CORAM:

Hon'ble Mr. Justice G.S.Sandhawalia.

Present:

Mr. Baldev S. Sidhu, Advocate for the petitioner(s).

G.S.Sandhawalia, J.(Oral) The prayer is for release of interest on the delayed retiral benefits. Admittedly, no representation or legal notice has been served upon the respondents for the necessary relief whereby the details have specifically been mentioned as to what payments were due, when they were made and what is the amount, on account of interest. Faced with the situation, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press the present writ petition and prays for liberty to approach the respondents with a detailed legal notice for the redressal of the grievance of the petitioner.

On the receipt of legal notice, the respondent No. 1 shall take appropriate action and take a decision thereon within a period of three months from the date of its receipt.
