[The aforesaid presence is being recorded through video conferencing since the proceedings are being conducted in virtual Court] The petitioner, a practicing Advocate at the District Courts, Rohtak, has filed the present writ petition seeking a mandamus for directing inter-alia the respondent- the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana, Chandigarh not to approve any list of fresh Advocate voters subsequent to the already published / circulated voters' list. Further direction is for directing the Bar Council to conduct the elections to be held for Executive Committee of the District Bar Association, Rohtak, on 6.11.2020 for the year 2020 in a smooth and efficient manner.

Keeping in view the disputed questions of facts raised and that alternative remedy is available, we find no ground to invoke writ jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution. Dismissed.
