The present petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in FIR No.85 dated 02.11.2020 registered under Section 22 of NDPS Act (Section 29 of NDPS Act added later on vide DDR No.25 dated 27.04.2022 and again Section 29 of NDPS deleted and Section 25 of NDPS added vide Rapat No.47 dated 04.10.2022) at Police Station Sadiq, Faridkot.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel on instructions submits that the petitioner is ready to surrender before the trial Court and prays that his bail application be directed to be decided within a time bound manner.

In view of the prayer made, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, present petition is disposed of with a direction to the learned trial Court that in case the petitioner surrenders on or before 10.08.2023 and files an application for grant of bail, the same be decided expeditiously in accordance with law.
