By virtue of instant petition, preferred under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has sought issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing respondents to release the amount of Rs.2,90,000/- of retiral benefits wrongly withheld by the respondent along with interest @ 18% per annum.

At the very outset of the arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though petitioner moved various representations including latest representation dated 20.02.2018 (P-5) to the respondents but till date no conscious decision has been taken. He further submits that petitioner feels satisfied in case direction is issued to respondent(s) to decide latest representation, within a stipulated period.

However, if the petitioner still feels aggrieved against any of the order(s) passed by the concerned authority, he shall be at liberty to have recourse to the remedies available under law as well as to approach this Court.
