**** HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI , J. (ORAL) In the present application, the claim of the petitioner is against the Cooperative Society i.e. respondent No.2 for grant of the benefits after his retirement.
Counsel for respondents No.3 and 4 states that writ petition against the Cooperative Society is not maintainable and the respondents society is not amenable to the writ petition as the same is neither administered by the Government nor is being financially supported NARESH KUMAR 2019.05.24 17:35 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

Counsel for respondents No.3 and 4 states that petitioner has an alternative remedy under the Punjab Cooperative Societies Act, 1961 for the redressal of his grievance.
Faced with this situation, counsel for the petitioner states that he may be allowed to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to approach the appropriate authorities under the Punjab Cooperative Societies Act, 1961 for redressal of his grievance.
