KRISHNA MURARI, C.J. (ORAL) This PIL was registered suo moto on the basis of a newspaper report regarding an alleged rape by 40 people. Vide order dated 13.08.2018 we directed the investigating agency to submit a fresh status report which has been filed on 03.10.2018 and a perusal thereof goes to show that in pursuance to FIR No. 41, dated 21.07.2018, under Sections 383, 342, 376D, 506 and 120-B IPC, registered at Women Police Station, Sector 5, Panchkula, total 11 accused have been arrested and report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. against them has been submitted to the Court of learned Magistrate on 28.09.2018. With respect to rest of the accused the matter is stated to be still under investigation.

This Court has no reason to believe that the investigating agency shall not complete the investigation and bring it to a logical end expeditiously. Thus, there is no reason to continue this PIL any further and the same be consigned to record.
