(ORAL) The present petition has been filed for quashing of FIR No.128, dated 14.06.2020, registered at Police Station Dhariwal, Distt. Gurdaspur, under Section 420 IPC and Section 13 of Punjab Travel Professionals (Regulation) Act, 2014 (Annexure P-1) on the basis of compromise (Annexure P-2).

Pursuant to order dated 13.02.2023, report dated 10.03.2023 has been received from Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gurdaspur, according to which, the statements of the parties have been recorded and the compromise is genuine and has been arrived at between them without any coercion or undue influence.

In view of the above, the petition is allowed and FIR No.128, dated 14.06.2020, registered at Police Station Dhariwal, Distt. Gurdaspur, under Section 420 IPC and Section 13 of Punjab Travel Professionals (Regulation) Act, 2014 (Annexure P-1) along with all consequential proceedings having arisen therefrom, is quashed qua the petitioner.
