Petitioners have impugned orders, Annexures P-10 & P-11 passed by respondent no. 3 whereby they were reverted to their previous posts of Fitter Helper. Reply has been filed by State wherein a stand has been taken that other eligible and qualified persons could not be considered at the time of promoting the petitioners. Thus, a final seniority list was prepared and petitioners were reverted pursuant to same. At this stage, Mr. Bal, submits that no seniority list has been furnished to the petitioners.

In view of above, writ petition is disposed of with the direction that respondent no. 2 would look into the entire matter and decide afresh after furnishing a copy of the seniority list to the petitioners at the earliest, in any case not later than two months. He shall also take into consideration office order dated 23.12.2016, Annexure P-13. Till then petitioners would not be reverted.
