This petition is filed for grant of regular bail in FIR No. 70, dated 26th May, 2016, under Section 22 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, registered at Police Station City, Malout, District Sri Muktsar Sahib.

The petitioner was granted interim bail vide order 5th September, 2016 (Annexure P-2), passed by Judge, Special Court, Sri Muktsar Sahib, awaiting report of the Chemical Examiner. It was specifically ordered in the said order that "...... In case, on receipt of report, quantity of narcotic drug or psychotropic substance is found to be commercial, this order granting interim bail shall be deemed to have come to an end automatically and applicant/accused shall surrender before the court without any further order of cancellation of bail otherwise same shall PRASHANT KAPOOR 2022.02.11 16:07 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

CRM-M-40570-2021 (O&M) be considered to have become absolute. ......". The FSL report was received on 20th September, 2016, but the petitioner never surrendered and eventually he was taken in custody on 6th April, 2021.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the present petition, at this stage. 5.

Dismissed as withdrawn.
