(ORAL) Through this petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, prayer has been made for issuance of directions to respondents No. 2 to 4 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner from the hands of respondents No. 5 and 6 and for taking appropriate legal action on representation dated 15.08.2022 (Annexure P-2) submitted before respondent No. 2-Director General of Police, Chandigarh. Short reply dated 12.01.2023, filed by way of affidavit of Sh. Gurpreet Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division Shahkot, District Jalandhar (Rural), on behalf of respondents No. 1 to 4 is taken on record.

In para 6 of the said reply, it has been averred that during the course of enquiry in the above-said representation Annexure P-2, the petitioner had got recorded his statement wherein he stated that he gave an representation bearing No. 2026-PIM dated 29.08.2022 against RISHU KATARIA 2023.01.13 15:53 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CRM-M-7961-2022 -2respondent No. 5-Amarinder Singh S/o Balbir Singh R/o Ward No. 6 Lohian Khas and respondent No. 6-Rattan Singh S/o Hari Singh R/o Kakar Kalan, Lohina, District Jalandhar, qua protection of his life and liberty. However, now he has no threat perception from anyone and he does not want to take any action on the above-said representation. In view of the above, no further action is required to be taken in the instant criminal writ petition and the same stands, disposed of, accordingly.
