Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, inter alia, for quashing of the impugned advertisement No. SW/1/2014 (P-7), for the post(s) of Tehsil Welfare Officer, Department of Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Backward Class, by way of direct recruitment, being in violation of the Rules dated 27.02.2021 (P-1). On previous date of hearing i.e. 21.08.2019, no one appeared on behalf of petitioners. Today also, position is the same. Learned State Counsel, on instructions, submits that the petitioners are not interested in pursuing the present petition. In view of above, present petition is dismissed for nonprosecution.
