The present petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for quashing of FIR No.12 dated 12.02.2020 registered under Sections 313, 376, 417, 506 and 120-B of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 at Police Station Satnampura, District Kapurthala and all subsequent proceedings arising out of the said FIR. 2.

Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Charanjit Singh has pointed out that the present petition has been rendered infructuous as in the interregnum the petitioner stands acquitted vide judgment dated 01.03.2023 passed by the Trial Court.
