Through the instant writ petition, a challenge is thrown to the award dated 26.11.2012 (P-11), passed by the learned Labour Court, Gurgaon, on the ground that the same is not in accordance with law. 2.
A Coordinate Bench of this Court, vide order dated 07.01.2019, had passed the hereinafter extracted order :- "Learned counsel for the respondents/Management seeks two weeks' time to comply with the judgment and order passed in CWP No.8028 of 2013 on 25.09.2018 in a case between the same parties against the award of Labour Court dated 26.11.2012. The petition has been accepted and the award was set aside and compensation has been awarded to the workman @ Rs.20,000/- per annum for each complete year of service or part thereof. The amount was directed to be paid by 25th December, 2018 failing which 9% interest would accrue. Accordingly, the case is adjourned to 27.02.2019 to report compliance of the order of this Court in the aforesaid writ petition.

The direction (supra), has not been complied with by the respondents No.1 and 2, and therefore, vide order dated 21.07.2025, this Court had directed the parties to explore the possibility of an amicable settlement of the dispute. Today, Mr. Kamal Singh, Manager, has caused appearance before this Court, and made a statement that the order dated 07.01.2019, will be complied with in letter and spirit, within six weeks from today.

In view of the statement suffered by Mr. Kamal Singh, Manager, this Court is of the considered view that no further direction is required to be passed. Therefore the instant petition is closed. However, in case the statement suffered before this Court is not adhered to, within six weeks from passing of this order, the petitioner would be at liberty to get the instant petition revived by filing an apt application, and in that eventuality, this Court would also consider to impose exemplary costs upon the respondents.

Disposed of, accordingly.
