***** JASPAL SINGH, J (ORAL) By virtue of instant petition preferred under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has sought issuance of a writ in the nature mandamus, directing respondents No. 1 to 4 to rectify the seniority list and thereafter refix the pay along with consequential benefits and payment of arrears of pay and pension thereof as per the pay grade from the date on which the juniors of the petitioner were granted higher pay grade along with interest @ 12% along with consequential benefits.

At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner feels satisfied in case direction is issued to respondents No.2 & 4 to decide legal notice dated 16.10.2017 (Annexure P-1), within a stipulated period. 3.
Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the instant petition is disposed of with the direction to respondents No.2 & 4 to look into the grievances unfolded by the petitioner in his legal notice dated Sonika 2018.01.11 14:30 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh
