(Oral) The present petition has been filed for seeking release of detenue-Gagandeep Kaur, wife of Labh Singh (petitioner herein), who is alleged to have been detained by her family members, who as per the allegations are not happy with the marriage of detenue-Gagandeep Kaur and the petitioner herein.

Pursuant to the order dated 21.05.2026 passed by this Court, detenue-Gagandeep Kaur has been produced before this Court. 3.

This Court had the privilege of interacting with her. She acknowledges that she has performed marriage with Labh Singh (petitioner herein) out of her free will and that she was also residing with her parents out of her free will and that now she intends to live with her husband Labh Singh (petitioner herein).

Under the given circumstances, the petitioner is henceforth at liberty to proceed from this Court alongwith detenue-Gaganpreet Kaur (wife of the petitioner herein), who is present before this Court. 5.
