This is a petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for issuance of directions to respondent Nos.2 to 4 to conduct free, fair and expeditious investigation in case FIR No.0022 dated 06.02.2023 registered under Sections 323, 341,34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and offence under Section 354 IPC at Police Station Jandiala, District Amritsar.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would contend that the police is not investigating the matter and that they be directed to carry out proper investigation.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Durlabh Darshan, has stated that the investigation is complete and a challan would be filed within a period of 10 days from today.

Faced with the same, learned counsel for the petitioner states that he does not wish to press the present petition at this stage. 5.
