Learned counsel for the petitioners limits his prayer in the present writ petition to the extent that his legal notice dated 19.09.2025 (Annexure P-4) be decided in a time bound manner as the same has been pending since 19.09.2025.

Mr. Aman Dhir, DAG Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondents/State and on instructions submits that the legal notice dated 19.09.2025 (Annexure P-4) would be decided within a period of two months from today, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners. 4.

In view of the limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, the present writ petition is disposed off with a direction to respondent No.3 - Executive Engineer, PWD (B&R), Sangrur - to take a decision qua the legal notice dated 19.09.2025 (Annexure P-4) within a period of two months from today, in accordance with law and after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners.
